Loki is a villain, enemy of his half brother Thor. Loki is shown to be Laufey’s son, who was abandoned in a battle between the Frost Giants and the Asgardians, only to be retrieved and adopted by Odin who conceals his real identity and parentage from Loki as the latter grows up in Asgard, as a “brother” to Thor, Odin’s biological son. Loki has always wanted to impress Odin of being worthy of becoming a king unlike Thor, but Odin reprimanded his actions and he became a villain.
